Check-In/Check-Out Times
Check-in time: 3:00 PM, earlier if available, ask owner.
Check-out time: 11:00 AM (strictly enforced to allow the cleaning service to begin cleaning)

Telephone
Local and long distance calls are allowed, no international calling. Phones are located in the kitchen, master bedroom, and downstairs den. An answering machine is connected in the kitchen.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the house. If smoking outdoors, close patio doors and windows so smoke does not enter the house. Please use the cigarette can for ashes and butts.

Pets
Sorry, no pets are allowed...no exceptions. Any deviation can cause forfeiture of your entire deposit.

Check-Out Procedure

• Turn off: All lights, TV/DVD-VCR's, Onkyo surround sound system, gas BBQ tank
• Thermostat: Set thermostat to 55 degrees. Lower settings may cause water pipes to freeze and burst
• Kitchen: Wash, dry, and put dishes away. Dishes should not be left in the dishwasher
• Garbage: Garbage pick-up is 8:30 AM on Friday mornings. Wastebaskets and kitchen garbage should be emptied and placed in the garage trash cans. Place sealed garbage bags by the curb on Friday morning -- not Thursday nights, as neighborhood dogs and wildlife will open the bags. If leaving prior to or after Friday morning, leave the garbage cans inside the grage for the cleaning service
• Linen: Leave dirty linen, towels, and dish towels in the laundry room for the cleaning service
• Blinds: Close all blinds
• Garage Opener: If you obtained the garage opener from the rental agency, return the opener to their office. If you rented directly from the owner, leave the opener on the counter next to the telephone
• Keys: If you obtained keys from the rental agency, return the keys to their office. If you rented directly from the owner, please return the keys to: Jo Mayeda, P.O. Box 519, Aptos, CA 95001-0519, (408) 410-1298
